Organic and industrial materials—including stainless steel wire constructs as shadows of barely delineated body, full formed whale tail blended with graphite, and a 60- to 80-year-old pōhutukawa tree—to form a suspended whale backbone. A stainless steel kauri sapling rises from the top end.
